This was a movie I'd never heard about before I watched it. The plot reminded me a lot of planet 51. A not that smart of a guy gets trapped on a hostile planet and needs to escape with the help of some smart people. Both of these movies are for a family audience and try to teach you that there is more to life than being strong/handsome/etc. Both movies also deal with the themes of racism and judgementalism.
